Peace among neighbors was the predominant message for SMFC’s 2013 Holiday Concert! The event explored the rich musical heritage behind our celebrations of Christmas, while honoring important other cultural contributions to our increasingly diverse holiday season. The sparkling musical program took a nostalgic journey through our favorite age-old Christmas songs and then ventured to more exotic lands where we learned about the cultural traditions of our friends around the globe. Adorning the stage was a 16-foot World Holiday Heritage Tree, which featured ornaments representing a colorful variety of cultures and holiday traditions!
