SMFC presented a tribute to the music of movies in its spring 2014 concert. Held at the Benjamin A. Friedman Middle School in Taunton, Cinema in Concert sampled the vast collection of wonderful movie music that has been created over the years. From the Glenn Miller feature “Orchestra Wives” to the latest installment in the James Bond series, from “The Wizard of Oz” and “New York, New York” to “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” and “The Lord of the Rings”, the music from nearly every movie genre of the last 80 years was represented in this sparkling retrospective of motion picture favorites.
