Spring of 1998 brought the chorus to the Governor’s Ballroom of the Taunton Holiday Inn for its presentation of Masquerade. The setting provided a perfect compliment for the musical program, which was a fun mix of swinging hits from the 1940s and colorful tunes from Broadway and film. Highlights included authentic radio-show style performances of I’ve Got a Gal in Kalamazoo and Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and an underwater visit from the Little Mermaid aboard a sunken ship. The guest children’s chorus received an official welcome to the group this season along with its own name, BPCC Kids.
