Martha’s Vineyard Tabernacle, July 21, 2019
In spring 2019, American music was the theme and SMFC donned colorful choir robes to perform toe-tapping southern gospel, powerful spirituals and stirring patriotic anthems. The ROTC from Brockton High and Taunton High Schools presented the Color Guard to open the second half of the concert. The newest part of the SMFC franchise, SMFC Bells made their premier performance, ringing a medley of spiritual on handbells.
That summer, the SMFC performed its Americana-themed program on Martha’s Vineyard, perfectly befitting the grandeur of the beloved Tabernacle.
